![]() ![]() I’m just not a huge fan of contemporary (I have to be in the mood for it) and I’m not one who really cares too much about sibling elements. ![]() ![]() ![]() I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy or even like this and it’s not like I loved it when I finished it but it was enough to make me at least finish the book. The book starts off with Alex, Emma and Henri already washed up on shore and it counts back to what happened before that and how they ended up on shore a few times through out the book. Can they survive the unearthing of the past and the upheaval of the present? To find their way home, the sisters must find their way back to each other. Trapped in this gorgeous hell, Emma and Alex fall together as Emma and Henri fall catastrophically apart.įor the first time, I was afraid we’d die on this shore. Their only companion is Alex, a troubled boy agonizing over his own secrets. Then the unthinkable occurs-a watery nightmare off the dazzling coast. I’d trusted Henri more than I’d trusted myself.
